Night Walk

A great time was had by all at the night walk. It was a beautiful, misty night with a bright full moon. We did 3 nightlines, where we had to walk along holding a rope and helping each other manage obstacles such as ditches, branches, fallen trunks, slopes and mud. I was helped by my team with Casey and Hamish doing an excellent job of letting me know where to step and what to avoid. Khadija was up front checking the group was all safe. Ms Gaffney's group were also with us and had a super time. The boys really enjoyed leading, so much in fact that Charlie and some others were disappointed when they didn't get to lead the group but were smiling and happy at the fun they had had. We were led up the hill by Alastair and saw some stars and the planet Jupiter and when we came down towards the house from the hill it looked magical with its lights welcoming us through the mist. I think we were all pretty tired after our walk as there was snoring coming from many of the dorms within an hour or so of getting back.

We are now looking forward to a day of activities and more fun and adventure. Ms French

I wonder how difficult or easy it was to get them out of bed the next morning? Elke
