Climbing and abseiling

My group went to the indoor climbing centre and learnt lots of climbing skills. I learnt how to climb upside down, it is really hard. Later on, we stood back and we leant back and had to turn ourselves sideways on the walls. Then we did some abseilling in the centre and a lot of people kept bending their knees but we were told not to do this. I was the only one that wanted to do the upside down climbing because everyone else was too scared to try. Then we went to the cliff and I was the second person to do the abseilling. I came down and everyone else did it after me so I had to wait for ages. Mrs Christie really wanted to do the climbing. I finally got a turn and I was climbing up and there was this very hard ledge to climb on and it was really steep and tricky. So the instructor pulled me up just a tiny bit so I could reach the ledge. The other people in my group were: Mixie, Lewis, Paul, Ruka, Eilidh, Freya.

Thanks to Deejay and Gracie for the letters. I am having so much fun and I hope you are too.

  3. Hey hey - good to see everyone is having such a great time! Brilliant photos and the usual bunch photos of wet/sodden/sleep deprived but happy pupils. Great stuff.

I hope everyone is behaving well and being kind to each other. These activities can be a bit scary for you all but I'm sure you'll be doing well. (PS this paragraph is purely for the teachers - I'm sure you kids are having a ball!)
    Lots of luv,
    Mr Howie
